Meet the Trainer

Pamela started Clincy Enterprises, Inc, in 2002, as an Independent Contractor for FedEx Ground in the P&D (local pickup and delivery) division. Starting with one delivery van, her territory grew quickly; by 2010 she had 4 delivery vans and 3 full time drivers. While her love for transportation grew, the need for a business with more autonomy compelled Pamela to sell the routes in 2015. After a short sabbatical, Pamela returned to trucking in 2017 with a small fleet. From 2017 – 2021 she managed a small fleet of 3 tractor trailers transporting dry van freight. It was during this time that Pamela got involved with dispatching as she took a first-hand approach in the day-to-day operations of Clincy Enterprises, Inc.

In 2019, she created Clincy Freight Dispatch Training after realizing the need for effective, hands-on training. She had observed another program and felt the essence of the role of a dispatcher was missing! Pamela felt that dispatchers needed to understand more about trucking as it relates to dispatching, realize the needs and operations of the drivers, and comprehend load boards to strategically coordinate loads. Her program offers 10 hours of live, interactive, and fun training for aspiring independent dispatchers. The class is Monday-Friday, 2 hours each evening. Live training affords a student the opportunity to learn freight dispatching in a chronological order, as opposed to a self-paced course, where the student is left to “figure out” how to organize the order of the information.

Clincy Freight Dispatch Training started a YouTube channel for a preview of the training. Today, Pamela has trained over 400 students. Many dispatchers have successfully launched their businesses, even hiring dispatchers. Others have evolved to becoming freight brokers or motor carriers, owning their equipment, offering safety and compliance services, and pursuing becoming a 3rd party drug screening provider. Her training has amassed 200+ positive reviews from former students.
